Terace Garnier, author of “No Longer Silent”, made history as the first Pentagon Correspondent for Newsy. She has traveled the world covering stories as a network correspondent and award-winning radio show host, and has been featured on Fox News Channel, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, TLC, NBC, and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
Garnier began her career in the Air Force in 2010 as a Broadcast Journalist, where she produced, shot, and anchored news stories. She holds a Master’s degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University.
Dedicated to giving back, Garnier mentors college and high school students, teaches high schoolers how to be unbiased journalists, and supports 7-9 year-olds who have experienced trauma. She also advocates for homeless veteran women and their children, and regularly feeds the homeless in Washington, DC.
A passionate advocate for women’s rights, Garnier uses her platform to raise awareness on issues such as sexual assault in the military and supports survivors of domestic violence and gun violence.
