Hello! My name is Donald C. Hayden Jr.  and am a native to the vibrant city of Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and having served faithfully for years in the United States military with two overseas deployments. 

My journey has had its fair share of challenges, from being dyslexic to dropping out of high school. However, I believe that these obstacles have shaped me into the person I am today.

Growing up on the south side of Chicago, life wasn't always easy. I faced numerous challenges, and my academic struggles became overwhelming due to my dyslexia. Learning was a significant barrier for me, and unfortunately, it led to my decision to drop out of high school.

However, instead of letting these setbacks define me, I chose a different path. I enlisted in the U.S. Army, where I served as a Sergeant. The military provided me with the opportunity to grow, learn valuable skills, and find my true passion for helping others.

One way I have chosen to make a difference is by creating a podcast centered around these topics. The podcast focuses on the experiences and journeys of transitioning soldiers. It sheds light on the mental health challenges they may encounter along the way and it aims to provide a platform for individuals to share their stories of perseverance, resilience, and triumph.
