Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) are topics we have been discussing for years. We have all attended mandatory training classes. It is one thing to sit in a class, but it is not the same as creating & implementing actual programs that make a difference.

My guest today is Dominique Bullock or as he is better known NiQo Suave. NiQo has that magic touch to create and successfully implement programs at colleges that celebrate our diversity and give every student the opportunity to feel comfortable and included.

In this episode, NiQo discusses his journey and experiences in his life-altering event, episode 71, titled "Walking the Walk." He talks about the importance of self-belief and the role of mentors in inspiring the next generation. He emphasizes the need for transparency and vulnerability as essential traits to connect with others and inspire them.

Meet the Guest: Dominique Bullock, A Catalyst for Campus Engagement

Dominique, a Maryland native and alumnus of Georgia Southern University, brings diverse experiences—fraternity leadership, Division 1 basketball, and roles in academia. His journey spans Atlanta, Michigan, and now the Pacific Northwest, where he champions student connections and fosters engagement.

He is the Associate Director of Student Activities at Whitman College in Walla Walla WA. He was recently profiled in the 2023 “39 under 39” published by the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin based on his commitment for helping students to build connections and be more engaged on campus.

Dominique "NiQo" Bullock is advancing the world one breath and one step at a time. Your habits create your momentum which leads to your outcome.
